This collection brings together 78 tracks selected by one rule: the original was released between 1980 and 1999. There is no genre filter, so pop, Eurodance, disco and hip-hop sit side by side - Yuri Shatunov's "Sedaya Noch" (1988) next to Modern Talking's "Geronimo's Cadillac" (1986).

"A new sound" means the melody and lyrics stay true to the original while the arrangement is rebuilt from scratch: fresh rhythm section, synthesizers and a new mix. These are live covers and remixes, not reposted old recordings. The list is ordered by play count, so the songs people return to most are at the top.
